A confidential space to explore the thoughts, feelings and challenges in your life

Welcome, and thank you for visiting my website.

My name is Natalie Yeong and I am a psychotherapist providing both short- and long-term therapy

in Crouch End, North London.

Psychotherapy in a safe and private setting

We all have the capacity to change our lives, even when feeling low, stressed, depressed or stuck.

Life brings many challenges, and it is understandable that sometimes we might look for support in facing them.

Counselors and psychotherapists work in a similar way. As a psychotherapist I provide a non-judgmental space to reflect on the difficulties or problems you are experiencing in a safe and confidential environment.

Together, we can look at your patterns of behaviour and explore where difficult feelings, such as depression, stress, anger, loneliness or anxiety may stem from, leading to fresh perspectives - and perhaps a new understanding of yourself.

I work with people from all walks of life and diverse backgrounds, with a wide range of problems. As a fully-qualified psychoanalytic psychotherapist I am accredited by the Forum for Independent Psychotherapists, a member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy, Council for Psychoanalysis and Jungian Analysis, and abide by their code of ethics.

Speak in Confidence

Working with an empathic, qualified psychotherapist in a safe space can help to offer insight into the less conscious parts of yourself, your thinking, feelings and behaviour. A confidential and non-judgmental space to reflect upon how you feel may help to facilitate personal growth and change. We can explore difficult feelings and work towards making meaning and develop understanding to foster resilience.

A problem shared...

People face many issues which can start to affect everyday life. These may be relationship issues at work or in your personal life bringing feelings of sadness, loneliness, anxiety or panic attacks; mood swings or depression. This can feel overwhelming and become hard to get on top of. Psychotherapy, like counseling offers the space to gain a better understanding of what may be causing these problems, empowering you to start disentangling old patterns and ways of thinking.

Make better, healthier new choices

Working together I can help you gain greater insight into the difficulties you are facing. Together, we may look at unhealthy patterns and dynamics that you now feel are limiting you, or making you feel unhappy, lost, anxious , depressed, angry or traumatised. This may help you understand why you act and react the way you do, freeing you to see how you can choose to start to making better choices moving forward.

"I have been working with Natalie for a few years and I trust her implicitly as my therapist. She gently and intelligently has made me feel more in touch with myself and has made me feel supported and heard, when often before I used to struggle with finding my voice.

I have learnt a lot about myself and have gained a significant amount of confidence, learning how to overcome self-doubt and acknowledging my feelings as valid. Ultimately, she has enabled me to think independently, to break away from a previous co-dependent mindset."

"I've never been keen on having therapy sessions, just didn't think I needed them. Then I met Natalie. Over the last 5 years I've benefitted so much from having regular sessions and have worked on things that I never knew needed addressing let alone working through.

Natalie is a fantastic therapist, I have opened my mind in so many ways of being that I never knew were possible. Don't know where I'd be without her. She's honest, caring and these are attributes hard to come by!"
